Day
1: Arrive Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town
Airport, you are met and assisted
to collect your vehicle and head
into Cape Town.
Day 2: Cape Town
Day at Leisure to spend exploring
the 'Mother City' at your leisure.
We suggest a visit to the V&A
Waterfront, Two Oceans Aquarium,
or take a Cable Car ride up Table
Mountain.
Day 3: Cape Town - Stellenbosch
Travel to Stellenbosch, the second
oldest town in South Africa, meandering
along the wine route. Stop at a
few selected wine estates to sample
some of the wine produced in this
area.
Day 4: Stellenbosch
Day at Leisure to experience the
rich historical and cultural heritage,
while visiting quaint villages and
sampling wines of merit at some
local well-known Wineries.
Day 5: Stellenbosch - Oudtshoorn
Depart Stellenbosch traveling towards
Oudtshoorn, we suggest you travel
along the alternative road the famous
'Route 62'.
Route 62 is one of the most beautiful
travel routes in South Africa, as
well as one of the least known and
least travelled ones.
Travel through spectacular mountain
passes, via Robertson, Worcester
and Franschhoek, make your way through
the Huisrivier Pass, Ladismith,
Barrydale and on to the romantic
village of Montagu. End your days
drive in Oudtshoorn, the ostrich-feather
capital. Visit an Ostrich show farm
for an informative tour, or explore
the Cango Caves, one of the world's
great natural wonders.
Day 6: Outshoorn - Knysna
Travel via George, nestled below
the Outeniqua Mountains, over the
scenic Outeniqua Pass, to Knysna
is one of the Southern Cape coasts
best known holiday destinations,
situated between lush forests and
the shores of the peaceful lagoon.
Day 7: Knysna
Spend today exploring Knysna, it
offers many activities and attractions
of a wide variety. The best known
attraction in Knysna are the 'Heads',
two great sandstone cliffs guarding
the mouth of the lagoon which connects
the estuary with the sea.
Day 8: Knysna - Plettenberg
Bay
Head for the seaside village of
Plettenberg Bay. After checking
in, spend the remainder of the afternoon,
exploring this holiday haven, lined
by several miles of white sands,
backed by the blue-grey outline
of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and
lapped by an endless succession
of gentle waves.
Day 9: Plettenberg Bay
- Hermanus
Today you take a stunning drive
back along the Garden route. This
magical area hugs the dramatic Indian
Ocean coastline on the one side,
and magnificent mountain ranges
on the other.
Hermanus is built along the shores
of Walker Bay near the Southern
most tip of Africa. Magnificent
mountains watch over the town which
is home of the Southern Right Whale.
Nature lovers from all over the
world visit Hermanus to view these
magnificent creatures from the best
land based whale watching destination
in the world. (July to November)
Day 10: Hermanus - Cape
Town
Afternoon departure from Hermanus
and travel Westwards, via Gordons
Bay and Kleinmond back to Cape Town.
Where you have the evening at Leisure.
Day 11: Cape Town
Spend the morning at leisure before
returning to Cape Town International
Airport for your onward journey.
