Day
1: Durban
Meet and assist on arrival
in Durban and collect your hire
car, drive into Durban for an overnight
stay.
Day 2: Durban - Drakensberg
Make your way to the Drakensberg
Mountains, an area of soaring heights
and dramatic peaks.
The majestic Drakensberg is the
country's highest and most impressive
mountain range rising to over 3
000 metres. Known to the Zulu people
as Ukhahlamba, or 'Barrier of Spears',
the Mountains of the Dragon provide
a magnificent semi-circular border
between KwaZulu-Natal and the inland
mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.
Day 3: Drakensberg
Today enjoy the natural beauty of
these magnificent mountains. Enjoy
a scenic walking/hiking trail, or
go fly-fishing in the cold mountain
streams and lakes. With a host of
activities on offer including horse-riding,
hiking, mountain biking, bowls,
tennis, golf and much more, you'll
be kept busy!
Day 4: Drakensberg - Hluhluwe
Game Reserve
Depart from Drankenberg for Zululand,
home to the most famous tribe in
Africa, the Zulu, as well as a wealth
of nature reserves. The Zululand
region abounds with wildlife in
extensive reserves; the largest
of these is the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi
Reserve where the white rhinoceros
was rescued from extinction.
Day 5: Hluhluwe Game Reserve
Spend today exploring Hluhluwe Game
Park, the oldest game reserve in
Africa where Zulu kings such as
Dingiswayo and Shaka hunted and
put in place the first conservation
laws. Visitors can also go for game
walks in the reserve accompanied
by experienced, armed rangers and
have the opportunity of coming to
within a few paces of rhinos, giraffe,
buffalo, elephant and a range of
other African animals (own account).
Day 6: Hluhluwe Game Reserve
- Durban / Pennington - Selborne
Hotel Spa and Golf Estate
Depart Hluhluwe Game Reserve and
drive back to Pennington, just south
of Durban. Here you will stay at
the Selborne Hotel Spa and Golf
Estate, located on South Africa's
Golf Coast, set in a magnificent
indigenous coastal forest and close
to the shores of the Indian Ocean.
A stately country retreat with the
understated elegance of yesteryear,
enjoy fine dining in elegant restaurants,
which serve breakfast, lunch and
dinner or relax on an outdoor terrace
and enjoy alfresco dining. Play
a round of golf on the beautifully
manicured 18-hole championship golf

amuse themselves at their own recreation

Day 7: Pennington - Selborne
Hotel Spa and Golf Estate
Full day to relaxe and enjoy the
hotel and the beautiful coast.
Day 8: Depart
Today you travel back to Durban,
International Airport for your onward
journey.
